We wanted to remind our families of our three evening support lines available to our students and families. Two of these resources began last week, and the Homework Hotline kicks off this evening!
Homework Hotline (Monday through Thursday, 6-8PM) – (804) 556-5611
This service will include support from a primary-grades teacher, an upper-elementary teacher, and each of the core academic areas in grades 6-12.
Technology Support (Monday, 6-8PM) – (804) 556-5617
This service will include troubleshooting everything from basic tech issues to more complex needs. Some technology issues, including devices in need of repair, will need to be addressed the following day during regular school hours.
Mental Health Resource Line (Monday, 6-8PM) – (434) 414-8039
This line will connect callers with our mental health counselor, Ms. Allison Mears, who will be available during this time for parent consultation and to provide additional counseling resources. Please keep in mind the GCPS Mental Health Resource Line is not a crisis hotline. If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact Goochland’s local emergency services at (804) 556-3716 or (804) 598-2697 or dial 911 for any life-threatening emergency.
The Homework Hotline and Technology Support will connect callers to our voice messaging service, which will be vetted by one of our team members serving as your customer service partner to ensure your request is relayed to the correct team member for their response.
