The Goochland County Public School Division offers a variety of programs and services designed to prepare students for quality citizenship and learning in the 21st century. These programs cover specific offerings with regard to Special Education, Gifted & Talented and Enrichment, Alternative Education, Career and Technical Education, Pre-Kindergarten Programs, Governor’s School opportunities at both the Maggie Walker Governor’s School in Richmond and through the Blue Ridge Virtual Governor’s School. A wide range of Federal Entitlements are also provided, including Title I (Part A & D), Title II (Part A), Title III (Part A) and the Perkins Grant. There are multiple opportunities for dual enrollment through J. Sergeant Community College and advanced placement courses.
