All Night Graduation
The All-Night Graduation Committee (ANG) is having its last big fundraiser of the year, Casino Night with Silent Auction at Bandits Ridge on Friday, March 24th. They have invited the Senior and Junior class (only) to attend with the Adults. Doors Open at 6:00 pm, and games begin at 7:00 pm. For additional information and to purchase your Early Bird Tickets before Monday, March 13th, please visit this link.
They are looking for a Senior that would like to compose or recite a poem to be read at the Baccalaureate service on Sunday, May 21st. Anyone interested is asked to please submit your information to sandyatccc@aol.com before Tuesday, March 21st.
The Baccalaureate service will be held at Goochland High School on Sunday, May 21st at 4:30 pm. Look for additional information as the event gets closer.

College Information Night
On Monday, March 13th at 6:00 pm, School Counseling will be having a virtual College Information Night for underclass students and parents who want to learn more about the college admissions process and what they could be doing to prepare. End of Marking Period 3
The end of marking period 3 is Friday, March 17th. Please review your student's grades on PowerSchool and reach out to their teachers with any questions. Report cards will be distributed to students on Wednesday, March 29th.

Fine Arts Festival
March is Youth Art Month! Please come out and celebrate the Fine Arts in Goochland County Public Schools at our annual Fine Arts Festival, Friday, March 24th, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Enjoy visual art displays, music, drama, chorus, and theater performances from all five schools. The event will also include interactive art activities hosted by the National Art Honor Society and the Empty Bowls soup fundraiser hosted by the Ceramics program. The GCPS Fine Arts Festival is a fun event for the whole family, so we hope to see you there!
Lockdown Drill
There will be a lockdown drill held on Friday, March 17th at the secondary complex.
My Princess Project
Attention 11th and 12th Graders: The My Princess Project is a nonprofit to help provide students with a prom dress that might otherwise not be able to afford one. My Princess Project is holding our second Boutique Event on March 25th and 26th, where we give MPP participants an opportunity to shop at our Boutique Event for a free prom dress and accessories.
If you are a Junior or a Senior and are interested in our program, please visit our website at
www.myprincessproject.org and click get a dress to see if you might qualify for our program. If you aren't sure and have questions, you can call Mary Thumma at (804) 723-1402. Survey
Linked here, please find a preview copy of the 6-12th grade GCPS Sense of Belonging and Inclusion Survey that will be administered during school hours in the window of April 17-28. The purpose of the survey is to provide input on how GCPS is doing towards meeting our annual School Board Equity Goals established per policy JFHB/GBAA so that we can create an even better experience for all of our students. Any parent wishing to opt their child out of taking this survey may do so by emailing our Survey Coordinator, Catherine Richards, at crichards@glnd.k12.va.us.
Sophomore ACA Kick-Off
Sophomore ACA students and parents, please mark your calendars now for Wednesday, March 22nd at 6:00 PM! You are cordially invited to join the Reynolds Career Coach, the ACA Site Director, current professors, and students that evening for our virtual ACA Summer Preparation Kick-off (available via Google Meet at meet.google.com/wkh-eugf-ewy). We'll cover topics such as the required summer course outline, payment timelines, communication channels, access to resources, and strategies for planning, surviving, and thriving beyond the summer. Spring MAP Assessments
Spring MAPS testing will begin the week of March 21st in Math and English classes. MAPs testing is a chance for students and teachers to see student growth over the school year. We strongly encourage our students to get plenty of rest before taking these critical assessments. Please reach out to your child’s Math or English teacher if you have any questions.
Strike Out Cancer Game
If you would like to help out in the fight against cancer, then please consider purchasing a t-shirt for the baseball team’s Strike Out Cancer game! All proceeds will be donated to the Massey Cancer Center at VCU. The final day to order shirts from the website is Wednesday, March 15th. T-shirts can be purchased here!
